The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that high-quality patient care is provided. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and management, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Manage and supervise nursing staff
- Provide training and education to nursing staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Manage nursing budgets and resources
- Participate in strategic planning and goal setting
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
