Melchiode Marks King LLC is rapidly growing Insurance Defense firm located in downtown New Orleans with 16 attorneys.We are seeking a paralegal with 3+ years of experience in the areas outlined herein:

Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheets, case management software, and e-file portals.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and assignments.
Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and good investigation skills.
Ability to:
- Follow direction and procedures.
- Retain experts.
- Notice / schedule depositions.
- Set up IMEs.
- Issue records subpoenas.
- Draft medical summaries.
- Draft deposition summaries.
- Prepare discovery responses and issue discovery requests.
- Prepare document productions, including the creation of spreadsheets and retrieval systems, organizing, and managing documents.
- Conduct trial preparation, mediation preparation, deposition preparation, including binders, exhibits, witness preparation outlines.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelors Degree, paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program preferred, or a combination of education and/or experience.
3+ years of significant and substantive litigation experience as a paralegal in a law firm setting.
