The Senior Scheduler or Scheduling Director will manage the scheduling department, working alongside the preconstruction and operations teams. They will be responsible for developing strategic and innovative solutions to create successful project schedules. The ideal candidate will have P6 scheduling proficiency combined with years of building experience and relationships with the Southern California public works and education market.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create project schedules, coordinating with various teams and stakeholders, analyzing project timelines.
  • Collaborate with the project team to track, refine, and optimize schedule solutions to exceed project scheduling goals and objectives.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Meet with company leadership to continue to develop and refine company project controls and best practices.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience as a construction scheduler, superintendent, or project manager for commercial general contractors in Southern California. Experience working with public works agencies, K-12 education, DSA regulated school projects in California. Projects valuing $100M+ a plus!
  • Experienced specialist in CPM scheduling and reporting
  • Proficient (5+ years) in the use of Primavera P6 and cost loaded schedule management
  • Experience with and a solid understanding of the construction industry, job site safety requirements, planning and scheduling, building trades and sequence of work, and relevant technology.
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, solution-oriented approach towards teamwork, and problem solver.


TECHNICAL SKILLS: Microsoft Office Products, especially Project, Primavera P6, Prolog Manager, NoteVault, Procore, Textura and Bluebeam
