WHO we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Mid-Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who will be responsible for creating and maintaining server applications as well as various tools used in the system. You will take the very best concepts through various stages of production coding, to prove feasibility of a concept and to complete end-to-end functional software services. You will also be expected to help prove concept feasibility and provide input into the architecture of the services we build.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain health focused features, products, and tools.
- Be responsible for unit and integration level testing.
- Troubleshoot and analyze system level issues end-to-end.
- Work with cross-disciplinary teams (design, research, product, QA) throughout the program lifecycle.
Required Experience and Education:
- 3 years project experience required.
- Bachelors degree required - Masters preferred (relevant to computer science or engineering related would be preferred).
- Hands on Experience implementing REST APIs and highly scalable systems.
- Hands on experience working with SQL or other types of databases.
- Hands on experience implementing website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices and React.js.
- Hands on experience integrating data from backend services and databases.
- Hands-on experience in AWS, Lambda, Dynamo is highly desired.
- Hands on experience in Kubernetes and Docker is highly preferred.
- Experience in FHIR is highly desired.
- Experience in multiple programming languages: Kotlin Multiple Platform (KMP), Scala/Python is strongly desired.
- Experience preferred in the following technologies:
- Hadoop
- HDFS/Hbase/PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Phoenix
- Spark/Kafka
- ELK
