Job Title: Engine Integration Technician II – A Shift
Compensation: $42.00 per hour
Location: Onsite – Kent, WA
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (A Shift).
Technical Skills Needed:
- Strong mechanical background, preferably in aerospace or automotive mechanics.
- Experience with precision tooling, especially in aerospace applications.
- Knowledge and experience with propulsion systems, engines, or turbomachinery highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of mechanical experience, with a preference for candidates closer to 5 years.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on assembly and maintenance of advanced engine turbomachinery.
- Participate in the assembly, disassembly, testing, and design of tools and fixtures related to turbomachinery.
- Provide critical feedback to enhance process control, capability, and repeatability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with assembly of turbomachinery, propulsion systems, aircraft or automotive engines, or other highly technical machinery.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand technical manuals and detailed work instructions.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in propulsion assembly, integration, and testing.
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with precision inspection tools and critical sealing surface requirements.
- A&P license or experience in integration and test of propulsion systems.
- Experience with 3D measurement tools and CAD software, with a preference for knowledge in GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standards.
