Position Details Position Information Position Title Visiting Assistant Professor of History Classification Title Faculty Full Time (.75-1.0 FTE) Benefits Eligibility Benefits Eligibility Department History Job Description Hope College seeks a one-year, visiting assistant professor, with the possibility of renewal for one more year, to teach courses in history and classics. The successful candidate will offer an introductory survey course of European/Mediterranean history to 1500 CE and upper level courses in Greek and Roman history. The ability to offer in Greek or Latin language and/or archaeology and material culture is also desirable. The overall teaching load will be 4-4. To apply, please visit hope.edu/jobs.
