An Electrical/Electronics Technician position is available in Mount Vernon, WA courtesy of Akkodis.
- Range: $32 - $38/hour
- Location: Mount Vernon, WA
- Duration: 10+ months but with excellent chance of converting to Full Time/Direct Hire/Salaried position
Duties:
- Develops testing equipment for Hardware in the loop benches with an emphasis on control systems and components.
- Fabricates, maintains, and uses a variety of equipment that evaluates the performance of AVP components or systems in the lab.
- Maintains necessary documentation for harness and box design to ensure knowledge is
- throughout the team.
- Use of electrical test equipment.
- Documentation using MS Excel and Visio.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and systems. Knowledge of data acquisition and analysis systems.
- Ability to work with schematics and manufacturers specifications.
- Familiarity with automotive serial data networks.
- Direct knowledge and application usage of common electronic laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal digital power supplies, loads, and data logging equipment.
- Well-organized and accurate with detailed work.
- Willingness, flexibility, and initiative to respond to shifting time and project demands.
- Capable of working individually and in group work assignments.
- Willingness to work with High Voltage lab equipment.
- Heavey Duty vehicle and/or automotive electrical system familiarity.
