Position: Account Manager
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in account management or in a consultative role, required
- Prior experience in a broker agency or benefits administration firm, preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm
Greene Resources is seeking an Account Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Manage and maintain an assigned book of business
- Delegate work assignments to internal service team members
- Work with the Benefits Consultants and/or Client Executives to manage the entire renewal process
- Manages day-to-day client issues
- Conduct enrollment meetings and face-to-face meetings with clients
- Advise clients in reducing costs while offering competitive benefits options
- Assist in growing the book of business through cross-sale opportunities when available
- Build relationships with clients and educate them on the latest trends, concerns, and changes in the industry
- Manage complex accounts and high-level service deliverables
- Provide leadership within the extended service team
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Experience with database applications, a plus
- Current Life and Health license, preferred
- Thorough knowledge of health and ancillary products; preferred
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products; required
- Familiarity and knowledge of quoting process and tools; preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities with the ability to work with clients at a strategic level
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
