Position: Account Manager

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in account management or in a consultative role, required
  • Prior experience in a broker agency or benefits administration firm, preferred

Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm

Greene Resources is seeking an Account Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!


Job Description:

  • Manage and maintain an assigned book of business
  • Delegate work assignments to internal service team members
  • Work with the Benefits Consultants and/or Client Executives to manage the entire renewal process
  • Manages day-to-day client issues
  • Conduct enrollment meetings and face-to-face meetings with clients
  • Advise clients in reducing costs while offering competitive benefits options
  • Assist in growing the book of business through cross-sale opportunities when available
  • Build relationships with clients and educate them on the latest trends, concerns, and changes in the industry
  • Manage complex accounts and high-level service deliverables
  • Provide leadership within the extended service team
  • Other duties as assigned


Position Requirements:

  • Experience with database applications, a plus
  • Current Life and Health license, preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of health and ancillary products; preferred
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products; required
  • Familiarity and knowledge of quoting process and tools; preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities with the ability to work with clients at a strategic level
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
