The Accounting Manager will have a central spot in the organization and have the opportunity to influence the role and his/her future development! Our client is looking for someone with a solid technical accounting background, ideally out of a large public accounting firm with hands-on exposure to large international companies. This role is meant for a high performer who enjoys consulting, finance, and strategy; a "change agent" and thought leader would thrive here!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accounting and financial reporting
- Assist in the handling and review of payroll and benefits accounting
- Compile and analyze financial information to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
- Analyze and provide key figures, including working capital targets and liquidity forecast in collaboration with the finance team
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions as well as compliance including indirect tax
- Assist in monthly upload of SAP financial data into Hyperion for group accounting consolidation
- Accounting projects in collaboration with the Finance Director
- Prepare lease accounting analysis and journal entries
- Record, monitor, analyze and reconcile fixed assets
- Ensure internal controls are effectively maintained for assigned tasks
- Provide support for the interim and year-end audits
- Recommend improvements to the efficiency of accounting processes and timeliness of deliverables
- Assist with ad hoc projects to support global finance and controlling teams
Requirements:
- CPA preferred
- 5+ years' experience of general accounting experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong tech skills including intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
- SAP experience HIGHLY preferred
- SAP s/4 Hana experience is a PLUS
- Strong communication skills with the ability and desire to collaborate and make a daily contribution to the team
