Pay Range: $121,000 - $188,514 USD annually.

Purpose of Job:

Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing pharmacy leadership to ensure quality patient care and financial viability as follows:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures smooth day-to-day operations of assigned pharmacy:
Pharmacy Manager I: Pharmacy averages less than 1000 scripts per week.
Pharmacy Manager II: Pharmacy averages more than 1000 scripts per week or manages a pharmacy program.
Creates, maintains, and promotes positive staff relations that promote efficient patient care standards.
Ensures team accountability to program metrics and supports troubleshooting and improving processes.
Manages pharmacy staff through mentoring, collaboration, and performance management.
Identifies training needs and ensures completion of trainings.
Oversees operational, financial, and clinical performance of assigned pharmacy/program in collaboration with Clinic Administrator and Director of Pharmacy Operations.
Identifies and facilitates continuous improvement activities including staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and other projects.
Acts as pharmacy liaison by ensuring multidirectional communication throughout the organization.
Acts as responsible pharmacy manager and pharmacist in charge, per state law as applicable.
Ensures the pharmacy complies with federal and state regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Pharmacist license from accredited school of pharmacy required. Current valid pharmacist licensure in the state of Washington and/or Idaho required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a pharmacist required. Knowledge of 340B Drug Pricing Program preferred. Prior non-profit and management experience preferred. Prior leadership experience preferred.

Skills: Above average level of computer skills required. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills required. High level of organization, motivation, and efficiency required. Excellent oral and written communications skills required. Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required. BLS (CPR/AED) required. Valid driver license, insurance required.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to move around the facility between one-third and two-thirds of the day, as well as sit at a workstation. Using hands occurs over two-thirds of the day, while reaching with arms occurs less than one-third of the day. Communicating is also required over two-thirds of the day, while climbing, stooping, or crawling is minimal. Lifting up to 10 lbs. occurs about half the time, while up to and above 25 lbs. occurs only occasionally.
