Estimator for Drywall, Metal Framing, ACT, and HM Door Frames (carpentry) commercial subcontractor. Salary negotiable based on previous work experience and resume.
Responsibilities
- Managing Bid Schedule
- Processing Bid Invites, Invites To Bid, & Requests For Proposals
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, project schedules, & other pertinent bid documents
- Taking of drawings for estimate (On-Screen Takeoff)
- Building assemblies in Quick-Bid
- Completing estimate in Quick-Bid
- Timely submission of RFI's
- Preparing bid summary for review by Chief Estimator or Project Manager(s)
- Writing & sending of Proposals
- Subcontractor and vendor pricing/quoting
- Submittals

Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Experience & ability in reading construction drawings and specifications
- Experience/proficiency in estimating software
- Experience/proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff & Quick-Bid
- Experience/proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Either Co-op, internship, or previous work experience in Construction
