Brief Description
Responsibilities:
- Effectively Assist in maintain plant equipment, primarily related to manufacturing kitchen appliances and refrigeration equipment.
- Assist in executing the plant preventive maintenance program.
- Use of ladders will be required.
- Strong working knowledge of all facets of manufacturing equipment and procedures.
- Use of power tools and hand tools.
- Able to work on painting and spackling projects.
- Responsible for completing tickets and partnering with L2 and Supervisor for advanced repairs as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of repair and maintenance experience.
- Exceptional ability to work on directed tasks, complete on time with good quality.
- Basic understanding of electricity and hazards of electricity.
- OSHA safety certification is a PLUS.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- In a workday: standing/walking 8-12 hours.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
- Possible work assignments may include building zones below zero temps.
- May be required to work up to 10 hours in 32–38-degree temps.
