SUMMARY

The Senior Quality Control Manager serves as the champion for the development, implementation, and compliance of new and existing processes that ensure customer satisfaction and financial performance across multi-plant locations. De Nora Water Technologies is seeking a hands-on, energetic, senior leader, to elevate our Quality Program to the next level, aligned with the organization’s strategic expansion plan and financial goals. The successful candidate will combine experience, deep subject matter expertise, leadership, and a proven track record of success in driving continuous improvement and creating programs with quantitative impact on customers and organizations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Assess current processes and practices across plants and develop short, mid and long-term improvement plans, aligned with the business strategy and performance metrics for the Organization.

· Support production expansion efforts in our Houston plant to increase efficiency, reduce waste and improve on-time and on-quality delivery of packaged equipment and post-sale or parts and sub-assemblies.

· Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues that drive corrective actions including internal process improvements, vendor management/quality improvements, training, tooling, etc.

· Audit ISO program to ensure compliance and identify gaps for further improvement.

· Drive future ISO 14001 certification program for the Business Unit.

· Promote a LEAN and Six Sigma culture across the Organization through training, Kaizen events and continuous education of production and engineering teams.

· Systematically drive the process control metrics that facilitate progressive optimization of inspection requirements.

· Effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams on quality issues in a timely and professional manner.

· Develop and implement systematic process controls with associated metrics to drive optimization of incoming/outbound material inspection requirements.

· Lead, mentor and manage an agile team of Quality professionals in daily activities, while supporting their professional development and career aspirations.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Leadership position.

· Practical knowledge and experience in problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques.

· Effective, clear and concise, communicator at all levels of the Organization including production floor to executive management.

· Educated in LEAN and Six-Sigma body of knowledge, Black-belt preferred or ability to gain certification within reasonable time with company sponsorship.

· Skilled in planning, conflict management, change management acting with urgency and purpose in a collegial and collaborative manner.

· Must exercise Quality Risk Management principles to drive timely and structured business decisions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in an engineering or business-related field and a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Manufacturing.
