About the role:
Key responsibilities include maintaining existing customers and developing new and emerging customers within the local geography. Managing all aspects of customer engagement, including but not limited to customer demand schedule, credit issues, quote management, and product knowledge/awareness. Driving growth in fulfillment and demand creation.
How you will make an impact:
- Develop and maintain purchasing and engineering relationships at accounts.
- Completion of account pre-call preparation work and qualifying.
- Determine calls to be made, and set objectives with local management.
- Prepare a daily schedule and monitor achievement levels.
- Customer visits as per schedule with Branch Management
- Be proactive about order follow-up, credit issues, backlog, schedules, etc.
- We are aligning the needs of the customer with the company's needs.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Previous electronics distribution industry sales experience.
