Avo Photonics (www.avophotonics.com) is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops, and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff can design, prototype, and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, automotive, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.
We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous leader who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The successful candidate must be able to lead a team, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and help all Line personnel
- Ensure safe, accurate, high-quality actions are performed in a timely, clean, and profitable manner
- Be present on manufacturing floor for entire shift
- Quickly identify those requiring more training, promotion, or pruning
- Provide daily feedback and guidance
- Ensure ALL actions are properly recorded (e.g. Travelers, Material Disposition, etc)
Requirements:
● Greater than five years of experience managing teams
● Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
