Job Details
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving manufacturing processes in the engineering industry. The ideal candidate should have a BSME degree, at least 3-5 years of heavy manufacturing experience, and metal fabrication experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products
- Improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are manufactured to meet quality standards
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and process control plans
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for manufacturing issues
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that raw materials and components meet quality standards
- Train and mentor production personnel on new and existing manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- BSME degree or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of heavy manufacturing experience
- Metal fabrication experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with CAD software
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action development
- Knowledge of quality control methods and techniques
