Job Details

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving manufacturing processes in the engineering industry. The ideal candidate should have a BSME degree, at least 3-5 years of heavy manufacturing experience, and metal fabrication experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products
  • Improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are manufactured to meet quality standards
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and process control plans
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for manufacturing issues
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that raw materials and components meet quality standards
  • Train and mentor production personnel on new and existing manufacturing processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

  • BSME degree or equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of heavy manufacturing experience
  • Metal fabrication experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with CAD software
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action development
  • Knowledge of quality control methods and techniques
