We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Research Associate. This role is pivotal to our sales team, providing critical information to add content to our platform and improve business. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, collecting, and maintaining data related to the automotive industry. This role requires excellent communication, collaboration, and research skills, as well as a strong understanding of both the technical and business aspects of the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct in-depth research on the automotive industry through various methods such as phone calls, in-person visits to shows and exhibits, and web-based research.
2. Collect, analyze, and maintain data related to the automotive industry to support sales initiatives.
3. Compose short articles and reports on industry trends, changes, and news.
4. Collaborate with multiple departments to gather and share information.
5. Assist with the preparation of daily newsletters or other productions.
6. Perform database maintenance to ensure accuracy and relevancy of data.
7. Support the sales team by providing valuable market insights and data analysis.
8. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the automotive industry, including technical aspects and business operations.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of a 4-year college degree.
2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
3. Strong business and technical understanding of the automotive industry.
4. Excellent research skills, with the ability to conduct phone calls, in-person visits to shows and exhibits, and web-based research.
5. Strong writing skills, with the ability to compose short articles and reports.
6. Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
7. Experience with preparing daily newsletters or other productions.
8. Ability to perform database maintenance.
9. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
