Responsibilities #Provide nursing care in conformance with current recognized nursing practice, procedures, policies and established standards of care. #Enhance the quality and timeliness of patient care by working cooperatively with other personnel. #Review all pre-procedural tests to assure patient safety. Incomplete or unusual findings are reported to the radiologist and documented prior to procedure. #Starts IV#s and access and discontinue access of Ports. #Monitor patient conditions continuously for immediate recognition, interpretation and management. #Administer intravenous sedatives for procedural/moderate sedation and titrate medications. #Facilitate inter-departmental communication with staff and physicians. #Assist Anesthesia during MRI Sedation cases. #Monitor and assist pacemaker patients during MRI exams. #Monitor and assist patients during MRI/US Neuravive procedures.
