We are looking for 2-3 Principal level AI / Data Science engineers to work with one of our leading Medical Device organizations within the greater Chicagoland area on a hybrid basis.
The organization are currently expanding their Data Science offering, looking for a number of individuals to help drive the direction of new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy. The individual would be responsible for managing large scale projects or processes, as well as being a technical specialist.
Key requirements include but are not limited to:
- Significant Programming Skills, particularly Python
- Experience developing in AWS / AWS Sagemaker
- Ability to build MLOps pipelines
- Experience with popular MLOps frameworks. Open-source like Kubeflow, MLFlow. Or commerical like Comet ML. or AWS Sagemaker
- Experience in Deep Learning Computer Vision, specifically in manufacturing environment
There is also a significant benefit if you come from a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical background or have worked for one of these companies in the past. Understanding of the products and how this heavily regulated industry works is paramount.
This role would be on an initial contract basis, with the opportunity to convert to an FTE role in the future if both parties wanted to do so.
At this stage we are only considering candidates on a W2 basis and no C2C / employers please.
They are flexible on start dates over the next few months for the right person, and are looking to pay around $70 to $80/hour for the right person, depending on experience.
