Updated - This role is a 6-month contract to hire position. This is a w2 contract with benefits and PTO.
Responsibilities
- Work with an agile team to deliver high value, high quality software.
- Develop enhancements to our existing software based on evolving business requirements.
- Perform thorough code review and testing of other developers’ contributions.
- Provide elevated support and maintenance across multiple platforms.
- Assist with architecting new software solutions and implement them with minimal oversight.
- Availability for occasional off-hours support.
- Other duties as assigned by the ERP Manager or Director of Software Development.
Qualifications
Required*
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in ERP development.
- Expert with IBM iSeries, RPG, CLP, and SQL.
- Extensive experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, coding, code review, testing, deployment, maintenance).
- An exceptional level of integrity, raw intelligence, creativity, energy, and passion.
- Lifelong learner with excellent communication skills and an effective team player.
Preferred
- Deep understanding of ERP modules including A/R, A/P, G/L, Purchasing, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, CRM, Reporting.
- Experience working in a mission-critical environment.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and database administration.
- Expert with DB2 for i and SQL.
- Experience working with EDI document generation, processing, and transmission.
