Facilities HVAC Technician
Location:- San Jose, CA
Duration:- 9 Months
Pay rate:- $40 - $50/hr W2.
Responsibilities of Facilities HVAC Technician
- Performing job walks with the intention of receiving proposals/quotes for pricing comparison.
- Act as liaison when contractors come onsite in addition to verifying their quality of work.
- Responding to after-hours emergency calls and summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Inspects building HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure equipment operation is within design capabilities and meets the client's environmental conditions.
- Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to: door repairs, furniture & equipment moves, event set-ups, and MEP facility-related repairs.
Requirements for Facilities HVAC Technician
- HVAC Certified or High School Diploma with 5 or more years of equivalent job-related experience.
- Working towards HVAC certification if not already obtained.
- EPA Certified Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial building environment.
- Experience with the implementation of a work order/asset management system.
- Experience with centrifugal chillers.
