What we offer our Registered Nurses (RN) | CVICU:Competitive pay, benefits, and incentivesWeekly pay, and Direct Deposit. $53-$58/hourFitness reimbursementTuition discounts through Rasmussen UniversityPTO, Medical/Dental/Vision insuranceContinuing education and paid orientation Registered Nurses (RN) Position Details: Type: 13 weeks contract Shift Start Time: Day, 4x12-Hours or 3x12-Hours Location: Seattle, WA As a Registered Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care to individuals in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with a focus on cardiovascular diseases, pre/post Cath Lab and IR procedures, and post-open heart surgery care.Proficiently perform and assist with specialized procedures such as Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), Open Heart Surgery (OHS), Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repairs, and manage advanced devices including Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP) and Impella.Safely operate and manage critical care equipment, including ventilators, vasopressors, and balloon pumps (preferably Maquet Datascope). Familiarity with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) equipment like Prismaflex is a plus.Demonstrate competence in managing fresh open heart cases and handling IABP devices.Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team, provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff, and contribute to a positive work environment. Strong travelers with cardiac surgical experience are highly valued for their expertise.Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:CVICU experience and open-heart experience are requiredCompetence in handling devices such as IABP, PrismFlex, Impella, and LVAD is preferredCertifications: ACLS, BCLS, and CRRT Prismaflex are all requiredSkills: IABP and fresh open-heart experience requiredActive Washington State RN License.Two professional references are required. Charge RNs are accepted. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced Hospital environment.Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.
