Come join our growing team! We are currently looking to add multiple WELDERS to our growing team. We offer starting pay up to $26 per hour and a$2500 Retention Bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate welding equipment to weld and assemble truck bodies, hoists and fabricated parts (may include robotic welder).
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist with continuous process improvement and lean initiatives by following process flow and remaining flexible to complete tasks as part of the team.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Able to perform basic math to determine ability to measure, assemble and problem-solve.
- Able to demonstrate welding ability and pass welding certifications.
- Able to manually move product and materials up to 50 pounds through regular heavy physical exertion, including but not limited to climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending.
- Able to stand and work in various positions for several hours at a time. Most of the work is done on concrete, ladders and in dump bodies.
- Able to determine and make welding equipment adjustments as needed, read complicated instructions, blueprints, measuring devices, and perform basic computer data entry.
- Able to learn operations of multiple machines/jigs within a job area and must be able to regularly rotate jobs to meet job schedule, team needs or to meet any safety recommendations.
