Position Purpose: The Director, Human Resources serves as a strong strategic partner to SAH guiding and managing Human Resource services, programs, and policies for the entire organization. Build strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and managers to achieve business objectives.


  • Develop organization-wide strategies and programs to improve employee engagement levels, retention and productivity levels. Will also develop a business plan containing an execution with a detailed timeline including a communication plan for roll-out for the entire organization. Metrics should be developed for measuring progress.
  • Develop, monitor and maintain an organization-wide talent / recruitment strategy that includes: talent management priorities, career advancement, succession planning, enhanced onboarding strategy, exit interviews, with a focus on turnover statistics.
  • Development of an employee-oriented organizational culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Lead day to day and operational goals for organization resulting in costs savings and improved processes system wide.
  • Serve as a resource for Direct HR reports for any and all HR related issues, including: Compensation & Benefits, Organizational Training and Development, Patient Satisfaction, Salary, Employee Relations, Recruitment, FMLA / Employee Health.
  • Oversee the design of leadership and talent development programs that enhance leadership capabilities while ensuring compliance, diversity, inclusion and policy implementation system-wide.
  • Prepare and operate departmental budget, forecast budget changes and approve all department expenditures.
  • Approve and schedule PTO and SL based on employee needs and organizational requirements.



Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field required
  • 10+ years of Human Resources Management experience.
  • Must have Human Resources experience in a healthcare environment with a strong understanding of HR functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal assessment, communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • PHR certification



Reporting Relationship

Positions reporting to this position include all members of the HR department.
