This is a casual/per diem position working 8-hour day shifts generally from 8am-4:30pm. No weekends or holidays. Ideally work a minimum of 4 shifts in 4 weeks. Training on full time schedule for ~2-3 weeks. Located in Rancho Bernardo.

Join Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo as Registered Nurse (RN) - Specialized Services - Cancer Treatment Room and make a difference in the lives of the patients we serve,
With nine chairs doing infusion of chemotherapy drugs, you will have a Charge Nurse and a Supervisor supporting the department.
You will review patients' labs prior to getting treatment and work with the pharmacy, if necessary, work with the pharmacy. You will educate patients and be knowledgeable of possible adverse effects of chemotherapy.
Additionally, you will perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate. Educate patients and document patient interactions. Practice infection control. Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within your own scope of practice.

Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Completion of accredited RN program
- One year RN experience in Oncology
- One year RN experience in Chemotherapy
Required Certification/Registration:
- Current CA RN license
- Current American Heart Associate Healthcare Provider BLS certificate
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- RN experience in a clinic setting
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient oncology infusion experience
- ONS (Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification)

Position Pay Range: $57.00-$81.60/hour
