- Perform complete or partial assembly operations to assemble various precision tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, levels, combination squares, etc.
- Work to close tolerance with small parts.
- Perform bench and small machine operations to assemble a wide variety of parts and tools.
- Requires fitting, adjusting, and interchanging of parts to meet standards for accuracy and smoothness of operation.
- Manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts to maintain strict quality standards required.
- Responsible for final acceptance of tools and making necessary adjustments to satisfy final inspection and quality control requirements.
Report any unusual conditions to supervision. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition. Perform all assignments in conformance with all safety and health requirements. Perform all other selected duties required or directed.
