Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Quality Technician 3 to join our team. Responsible for diverse quality assurance tasks including calibration system management, MSA studies, print reviews, and programming CMM and optical measurement systems. Join us and be at the forefront of precision and innovation.

Job Duties

  • Manage and run our calibration system to ensure all measurement and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to industry standards and internal procedures.
  • Interpret engineered drawings, including GD&T, and specifications to understand product requirements and tolerances.
  • Develop effective fixture solutions to securely hold products during inspection and testing.
  • Conduct metrology studies and generate comprehensive reports on engineering samples to ensure accuracy, precision, and compliance with specifications.
  • Facilitate and analyze Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies to ensure accuracy, precision, and repeatability of measurement equipment and processes.
  • Develop and maintain programs for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and optical measuring instrument to inspect parts and components.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of products, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions.
  • Provide training and support to team members on quality processes and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality assurance activities
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing role, preferably in a quality environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineered drawings, GD&T, and specifications.
  • Strong programming skills for CMM and Keyence measurement systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative approach to addressing quality issues.
  • Experience conducting Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies and capability studies.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
