Reports to the Perioperative Nurse Manager and the Director of Perioperative Services POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate of an accredited school professional nursing Experience and Qualifications: # PACU: Minimum of 2 year experience in an ICU or in perianesthesia services in an acute care hospital setting preferred. # PRE-OP: previous preop or Medical Surgicalexperience preferred. # Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills # Demonstrate emotional maturity and ability to function effectively when under stress # Organizational and prioritizing skills are essential Licenses/Certificates: # Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of California # PACU: Certification in BLS/ACLS upon hire, CPAN preferred. # Preop: Certification in BLS/ACLS upon hire # Must complete/maintain required annual competencies per hospital policy. #Casa Colina will be opening a NEW 31-bed Med/Surg hospital in early 2015.
