Duties:This position provides a range of nursing care on a scheduled and emergency basis for patients of all age groups and their families/caretakers who have been affected by child sexual abuse and sexual assault. The Registered Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and skills in the triage, medical evaluation, forensic evidence collection and the reporting requirements when concerns of sexual abuse/assault arise.

Qualifications:Mandatory Minimum Qualifications Experience: Two (2) years of Registered Nurse experience. Education: Associate of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program. License: Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. State or Territory. Certificate: Valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and maintain certification. Valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and maintain certification. Must have or be willing to obtain a valid certification in Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) with Pediatric/Adult/Adolescent within six (6) months from date of hire and maintain certification.
