  • Duties performed by an LPN/RN:

  • Provide Leadership to nursing personnel

  • Maintains accurate and complete resident medical record documentation

  • Accurately prepares and administers medications and treatments to assigned residents according to physician orders and nursing procedures

  • Completes incident reports and medication error reports and reports to the Charge Nurse

  • Participates in shift report and assists in organizing resident care assignments

  • Provides assistance and supervision to the CNA/QMA

  • Responsible for directing, delivering , and evaluating the quality of care provided by all team members

  • Responds immediately to emergency situations

  • Reports any concerns/problems or discrepancies to the Unit Manager, DON, HFA

  • Participates in providing restorative care for residents

  • Participates in survey inspections

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in Indiana as a LPN and/or RN
  • Desire to work with geriatric population
  • Long-term care experience preferred
  • Willingness to work in a team atmosphere
  • A BIG heart and a BIGGER smile
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
