Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the Wound Care Center. These include, but are not limited to, utilization skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating and providing care through the use of hospital and nursing standards.
Job duties include:
- Provides case management to a group of patients providing specific assessments according to protocols and procedures, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management and acts as a patient advocate in delivery and coordination of patient care.
- Provides efficient and effective care with the guidance of the physician during the clinic sessions, attends the clinics where scheduled and is dependable. Able to manage a number of patients at the same time with high energy and organization.
- Collaborates with other healthcare providers, wound care center Physicians, Program Director and Medical Director, regarding clinic and patient needs.
- May be required to attend 40 hr approved Hyperbaric Safety Course and act as interim chamber operator if coverage is necessary.
- Will maintain appropriate competencies to fulfill requirements of Hyperbaric chamber operator, if necessary.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:Associate's Degree Nursing And Over 6 months to 1 year Wound care nursing experience required BSN preferred Licenses and Certifications:Registered Nurse in PA - Licensed, Upon hire, requiredBasic Life Support (BLS), Upon hire, required

Responsibilities Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, as needed
