Position: Software Quality Assurance- Test Technician

The Company: NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc., headquartered in Amityville, Long Island NY, is a world-wide leader in the manufacturing of electronic security systems for over 45 years is seeking an experienced Burglar Alarm Technician for our Standards and Compliance Department.
This position entails testing of Fire and Burglary control panels as well as the peripheral equipment associated with alarm systems under actual installation conditions. The technician will certify that the products tested comply with the specifications for the products. Technicians will also be involved in writing test procedures and tracking/resolving issues through bug tracking software.
Requirements:
- Applicants are expected to have 2+ years of alarm system installation and programming.
- Experience with NAPCO products is a plus, but not required.
- General computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications is also a plus.
