Resource Label Group is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our Cerritos, CA facility! This individual will be tasked with identifying, qualifying and converting prospects into new business; qualify inbound marketing leads; create marketing plans for the California market; and develop plans to elevate underperforming existing accounts.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting.
  • First point of contact for incoming Marketing and Business Development Leads. Qualify and either manage or recommend for assignment inbound opportunities to the appropriate salesperson, based on geography, specialization, and opportunity value.
  • Update and maintain Sales activity, as well as customer and prospect information within the Salesforce CRM.
  • Probe and identify opportunities and challenges through effective questioning and active listening and develops a relationship with clients.
  • Establish high-level relationships within client-base and gain a clear understanding of customers’ business requirements.
  • Evaluate, understand, and develop strategies for elevating underperforming House Accounts.
  • In situations where a customer hand-off to an outside sales consultant is appropriate, ensure that the transfer of information is performed accurately and expeditiously.
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, updating customers information on new products, services, and capabilities.
  • Curate focused Marketing campaigns to qualified prospects, using RLG Marketing resources and support tools.
  • Leveraging RLG resources, investigate and resolve customer complaints.
  • Provide regular reporting to Management on customer and industry trends, challenges, etc…
  • Learn and train on RLG’s internal processes and systems, as well as acquire the technical knowledge needed for the position.
  • Forecast and meet annual sales targets.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience in sales or customer-facing roles
  • 1-3+ years of work experience within sales or customer-facing positions
  • Ability to analyze data to anticipate or quickly identify problems and work cross-functionally to deliver solutions
  • Strong technology skills a must, with experience in CRM and Marketing Automation tools
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to adjust communication style based on audience
  • Ability to respond quickly to customer needs, changing demands, processes, and evolving business needs.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Understanding of the print process, pressure-sensitive and adhesives strongly preferred.
  • Industry experience in Label Print or Packaging strongly preferred.
