Frontier Cooperative is seeking a Millwright Associate to work in our LLC Central Ag Builders. This position is being offered as full time with benefits.
Millwright Associates are responsible for a variety of different duties that include, but are not limited to, the following:
Core Responsibilities:

- Provides exceptional customer service to our patrons, customers, & employees in a courteous & professional manner. Operations Associates assist customers with purchasing bulk fertilizers, chemicals, & seed, as well as deliver grain commodities to the terminal.
- It is also every employee's responsibility to identify & communicate workplace hazards & correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Employees must also complete all safety training, complete necessary reports & required record keeping, as needed.
Day to day tasks include:
- Performing lay-out work
- Welding
- Fabricating
- Inspecting equipment to diagnose defects
- Dismantling and reassembling equipment
- Repairing machinery and equipment
- Testing repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiency
- Erecting equipment
- Assisting in other duties as assigned
- Record keeping and reporting
Skills needed to be successful include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Employee is required to supply their own hand tools, wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc., all other tools will be supplied by the company.
- Must be able to work at various heights.
- Must be comfortable to work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to grind and cut using plasma cutters and cutting torches. Welding capabilities are preferred, as well as iron working skills.
- Preferred to have candidates certified to use forklifts or willingness ability to be trained on forklift and scissor lift.
- Safety equipment will be supplied by Central Ag builders, harnesses, eye wear, gloves, hard hats and high visibility clothing.
- The ability to think clearly, take initiative, & problem-solve
- This position requires you to occasionally lift 50 to 100 pounds.
- Must possess the ability to climb ladders, stairs and bins when needed.
