KEY\nJOB DUTIES</span></span></b>

  • </span> </span></span></span></span>Design\noil and gas pipelines, pipeline metering facilities, gas compression\nfacilities, liquid pump stations, gas processing, dehydration, heaters, filter\nseparators, and slug catchers.</span></span>

</span></p>

  • </span> </span></span></span></span>Design\nhydrostatic tests, pipeline replacements, station replacements.</span></span>

</span></p>

  • </span> </span></span></span></span>Design\nhydrostatic tests for pipeline segments that require a valid strength test to\nestablish the maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) of the\npipeline. Review historical documents, verify prescribed test boundaries\nand identify potential hydrotest obstacles.</span></span>

  • </span> </span></span></span></span>Responsible\nfor pipe sizing calculations, valve sizing, hydrostatic test design; hydraulic\ndesign, compressor designs, pump designs, interactions with regulatory and\npermitting agencies as well as other pipeline engineering support.</span></span>

  • </span> </span></span></span></span>Specify\nmaterials and equipment for purchase, using data sheets when required. Write\nequipment specifications for purchase when required.</span></span>

Requirements</h3>

</span></span></p>·</span></span> </span></span></span></span></span>Bachelor\nof Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree.</span></span></span>

</span></span></p>·</span></span> </span></span></span></span></span>Valid\nProfessional Engineer license.</span></span></span>

</span></span></p>·</span></span> </span></span></span></span></span>At\nleast 8 years of professional experience. Experience in oil & gas/utility\nindustry preferred.</span></span></span>

</span></span></p>·</span></span> </span></span></span></span></span>Thorough\nknowledge of P&ID's.</span></span></span>

</span></span></p>·</span></span> </span></span></span></span></span>Good\nknowledge of industry codes and standards ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/CSA codes (ASME\nB31.3, B31.4, B31.8, 49 CFR 192 & 195).</span></span></span>

</span></span></p>·</span></span> </span></span></span></span></span>Excellent\nwritten, verbal communication and organization skills.</span></span></span>
