"I've worked for Jenny Craig for a little over a year now. Despite having a small group of passionate developers, this company is aggressively against the concepts of IT and IT advancement. The CEO has taken a "zero cents to IT" approach that will eventually lead to atrophy of the IT Department."

"Loved the job, because I loved my clients! But I did not like to micromanaged by my manager. And other employees plus commission can be a very bad deal."

"This company has a very tumultuous environment especially where Management is concerned. I have had 5 managers in the 2.5 years that I have worked here. Each time I think, This has to get better, just wait and see. Unfortunately we still have one of the highest engineer turnover rates in the state."

Program Director

"I worked with Jenny Craig for 3 years. I started as a Weight Loss Consultant, and quickly moved up to a Program Director, and then an Assistant Centre Director (within 6 months) in training to take over the CD position for when the time came. I was promised the Centre Director position noting my outstanding customer service, sales, growth of the business and overall work ethic. When the time came, the MD and AMD not only didn't interview me, they gave the job to someone FAR less qualified."

"Watch out!!! Starting at JC was great. The company had so much potential especially since they were newly acquired by Nestle, which meant that there was budget to be spent for improving technology. But as time went on, I quickly realized that the company was not going anywhere since its leadership team had no clue to run a company with a big budget. Eventually the company started putting new leaders and not thinking whether they would be good."

"I spent 8 years at Jenny and worked at multiple centers. I loved it for about 5-6 years, then as the business became weaker the environment became unstable and inconsistent. Within the past year they closed over 100 stores and are being sold by Nestle. Everyone of my mentors or good managers are gone!"
