"Moving from one project to another. So, I have the opportunity to get my hands on different technologies."

"They want mostly really strong technical people but the concentration is more on basics when they interview."
What don't you like about working at Cablevision?
"The commute and the part that there is no proper transportation available from the company."

"They do their job pretty fine, just try to keep the whole teams at one place."

"There is nothing like that.Great work culture. But we get too many interview calls which makes us go crazy"

"They hired out of reference and a few interviews. There is a lot of trust in the company."

"Go in with confidence and you will get the job you want."

"I dislike having to land contracts. There are a lot contracts I am submitted for that I know I cannot do because the skills needed are not mentioned on my resume at all."

"Management needs to keep better tabs in its employees. They keep submitting me for postions I know I cannot do."

"Great learning culture and gives respect to individual technical talent and decisions."

"Technically strong and a good learner. Also should have interest in new and upcoming technologies."

"The Business Analyst and QA team are not in synch with development team - the teams could be more organized and work towards a common goal."

"The same as my current manager. Additionally would also structure the work load."

"I like the flexibility of being able to come and go as I please."

"Be engaged. Know what you are talking about and if you do not, be honest and just explain that you haven't had a chance to work with that but you would love the opportunity."
What don't you like about working at Blue Cross Blue Shield?
"I dislike the below-market value salary, the way they push people to perform miracles on a daily basis, the fact that getting test data is a huge thing which can and has taken up to a month, the lack of direction, and the leadership and accountability between teams and within team."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I suggest better planning for the design and scope approaches. Also, realize that consistently working 60-70 hour work weeks without overtime or comp time is not a great way to keep people happy, and that, if there is that much work, perhaps more people should be hired."

"They have pretty excellent standards to falsify and modify information and play with your career."

"The management sucks big time, and the day you decide to quit and part your way for good, you would get to the see the actual characteristic of the boss of the company."

"To retain the employees of the company, listen to their suggestion and, oops, just not listen. Act accordingly for the well-being of the business and employees. Happy employees = More $$$$$$."

"The work-life flexibility allotted by the core hours of 9-3 is a major plus"

"Each project is completely different (separate) from the others. Make sure the one you are interviewing for is something that will keep you interested and that the team you'll work with is a good fit."

"I pigeon-holed myself into a position where I was unable to step out to different opportunities."

"Allow for more telecommuting and listen to the requests of employees better."

"They talk about being able to move around the company but my manager gets upset if I mention it."

"The managers do not have a lot of technical experience. Some training would do them good."

"The contract assignment I worked on required me to use state-of-the industry technology. This kept my technical skills current in the marketplace."

"Avoid contract opportunities where TEK systems is the subcontracting agency - apply directly to the prime contracting agency."

"My background investigation for the US personnel office was not processed promptly and efficiently."

"Eliminate test taking for contractors with a proven performance record."
