"JCVI has relaxed management flexible hours, & beautiful facilities. IT support is excellent for the computational grid, but poor for use'rs desktops, and stingy with disk space. Some of the IT staff will help you with special needs; others try to force everyone into a single model.There isn't much interaction between the different research groups, especially between computational & experimental groups. Social mixers, but little idea among the rank & file what others are working on."
