"Don't bother, if you don't suit their business needs they will fire you in front of a whole room of people."

What do you like about working at Intuit?

"Casual dress, SOME friendly people but they are mostly those in training, nice facility with fun names of different rooms."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't bother. I was there half a day and told that my school (one night a week at 7 pm) wouldn't be a problem but a few hours into training, that all changed. Everyone was talking about working later shifts (12-9) and I spoke up and said I had school. My trainer told me we would talk later. A few hours later, the woman WHO HIRED ME came in and gave another speech that we have to be flexible and will be working later shifts. I explained that I had school, she said it may be a problem but she will let me know and to sit through training anyway. (Yeah, like I could concentrate). After lunch, she came back and informed the group of 11 that we will indeed be working later shifts and that, since I would have to leave at 6 pm for a total of 3 times until I graduate, that they couldn't accommodate me and I had a choice to make. Well it's a no brainer. The "it's my choice" was a nice touch. A very nice way to keep from a lawsuit when I was the one that chose to leave. They talk a lot about personal growth but it seems to be only if it suits them."

What don't you like about working at Intuit?

"Insensitive managers, NOT flexible to the needs of their employees, not as wonderful as it seems."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"People have lives and other things going on, to hold it against them for going to school is wrong."
