Submit a Review"I enjoy unraveling the mystery of digital advertising for my clients. They better understand what they are buying and they feel more comfortable once they are educated. This has always paved the way for a trustworthy, long standing relationship. I LOVE that! If I had to say I hated something about it I would say that I dislike constantly having to prove my integrity since most of these business owners talk to SO many digital sales people."
What do you like about working at ReachLocal?
"I was not only doing sales but I was working with business owners helping generate more revenue. I would do this by helping them with their online advertising."

"Nope just be yourself and have good work ethics. As long as you work hard you will be fine."
What don't you like about working at ReachLocal?
"Nothing I enjoyed everything about reachlocal. I couldn't of had a better time."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None at the moment. I enjoyed the management there and couldn't complain."

"The flexability and the way that we were able to work in the way that each individual could work the way that we worked best."

"do not apply unless you are truly willing to be passionate about helping SMB's."
What don't you like about working at ReachLocal?
"The amount of turn over that the company has. Watching good sales people being fired because they were not given the opportunity to truly prove themselves."

"Listen to your staff, love the good thoughts and expound upon those ideas."

"Training is a very high priority at this company. The initial training program is very extensive, and their is a focus on ongoing training as well."

"Existing experience selling advertising of any sort seems to be what they like."

"The compensation plan was not in line with the industry standards."

"Consider making the compensation plan more aggressive to provide incentive for newer reps."

What do you like about working at ReachLocal?
"This is a pure, outside sales job in an industry that is in it's infancy. ReachLocal provides every tool and resource possible in order to make each Internet Marketing Consultant (IMC) successful. From day one this company has been 110% honest and up-front with each IMC. This job is very hard and there is no easy way to become successful in this industry. They tell you this in the interview, boot camp, and every day you are on your job. What I love about ReachLocal is that I own my business. The sky is the limit and every step of the way ReachLocal is pushing me to be better and more successful."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"STUDY, STUDY, STUDY. Know the business inside and out before your interview. You have to be willing to eat, breath and sleep both ReachLocal and the Industry to be successful at this job. If you come to the interview resting on your past experience or education then you will be faced with a very steep and slippery slope to climb to the level of expertise where ReachLocal wants you to be. So you may as well start early by being a student of the industry before your interview."

"My management team is amazing, and one of the best in the company. I wouldn't change anything."
