"Don't expect to stay past your one year mark. Pros: Smaller company, so you get to fill many roles and gain a wide breadth of experience in a short amount of time. Cons: Benefits: anything that could be skimped on, was. Insane turnover. Throughout my one year I saw at least 5 people get walked out on Fridays without any warning to anyone, which is a considerable percentage of people for how small this company is. I also got the same treatment 3 days before my one year mark. Definite nepotism among management with their choice of marketing director Lack of direction for existing and new products: everyday there was a new “top priority” and therefore nothing was “completed” on time. Advice: Be honest with your hiring practices, if you want year long contracts, hire for that. Do some actual market research and figure out what your customers want, then stick to a design."
"Management changes direction often, re-structures management team often, terminates people often, will neglect quality issues in favor for appearance of new product line. company is very wasteful, managers are not willing to listen to others, employees are to do it one way only, huge employee turnover. In the last 9 months 8 office/managers/technical/sales people fired and 4 quit. This is a company of 45 people, 20-25 are assemblers/testers. Management micro manages everyone but only comes in the office about twice in 10 business days."
"The management in this company is a HUGE problem! They micromanage and do not empower their own professional employees. You have to agree with the owner 100% or you will be terminated. Supervisors, managers, chief engineers, CFOs cannot do anything but what the CEO wants done. Must work with your hands tied and waste a lot of time with the CEO's endless requests and ideas, then to completely start over when he changes his mind, which is often. Don't waste your time with this company for employment. Take your skills where they will grow and be appreciated."
"I was ready to positively contribute towards the efforts of this promising small company. The products are interesting and the people are overall friendly and hardworking. However, upper management has created a non-productive culture through passive-aggressive behavior, alternating between liaise-faire and micro-management."
