"The closeness of the company. We did a lot of functions outside of the work environment that promoted the family aspect. Where else would you see the owner of the company play for you at the Christmas party every year."

"Be the type that is social and works well with others. The ones that can communicate with others well will do very well."

What don't you like about working at InnovaSystems International?

"Some recognition's are lumped in with other constituencies. For example Test would have to compete with UEX and Tech Pubs for recognition."

"To listen to the employees. Have a good feel of the work environment. When morale is low to take action immediately."

"Most groups care about your personality as they do your technical abilities."

"Our CEO should let someone else do the long-term planning. He still runs it like it's him and 50 of his friends, where everyone knows everyone. Definitely not the case anymore."

"I would get rid of all the brown nosers who don't do anything. I would stop saying we're in a tough financial state while employing an entire team to work on a pet project."

"Lack of facilities and temperature control in the branch office at North Island, Naval Air Station in San Diego, California."

"Reduce manning on projects that failed and not accross the board based on few number of years of employment."

"The Boise site had great people and a great environment. I truly enjoyed working there."

"They heavily favor the San Diego and Norfolk sites. The other locations are not treated well by corporate."

"When the company was in trouble, upper management kept telling everyone that everything was OK, right up until they stared laying people off."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be straight with your employees. Telling people that not to worry, that their jobs are secure, and then laying them off within a couple months is low."

"It was a nice place to work, the job was chalenging which I like."

"Insecurity due to government contracts."
