"Interviews focus on quite a bit of personal anecdotes and experiences relevant to the working environment."

What don't you like about working at Airtran Airways?

"After achieving my personal goals and completing my BS in technology there is little room to use my new knowledge. The opportunities for internships and future career move into the technology field were relocated out of state after Southwest Airlines acquired us."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"In a changing environment such as we now find ourselves, frequent honest communication is paramount."

What do you like about working at Continental Airlines?

"I liked being able to coach employees in their careers and help them achieve success. I also liked the ability to teach customer service skills to the flight attendants."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"My experience being in the In-flight department I would tell them to earn the trust of the employee that report to them first and foremost."

What don't you like about working at Continental Airlines?

"They don't put enough value on employee longevity, and experience. They do not take care of their own so to speak. I also don't feel they put enough emphasis on customer service, that could be elavated with the right training for the employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Pay more attention to the front line employees, and also evaluate the management staff in the Inflight department to ensure they are qualified for the positons they are in."
