"Very shady practices. They have no leadership, and do not create an atmosphere of team within the employees. They asked a DSP to put her name (NOT the agency) on a bank account that the agency had representative payee fiduciary responsibility. They actually instructed staff to withhold medical information from legal guardians of residents. They cite "accountability during an audit" as a reason for not allowing staff to maintain a communication log between shifts. HR calls and offers people a position within the company, and then supervisors deny that despite HR confirming the information."

"Where can I even begin? The CEO of this ever-changing company is quite the force of abomination. The treatment she provides towards those who work directly under her is both unprofessional and down right cruel manipulation. She demands outrageous tasks from those who are already overloaded and beyond stressed, both psychologically and emotionally. Any and all decisions are made by her and her only as she frequently states "I built this company. I am the reason we succeed." How about giving credit to those who have worked extremely hard over the years for this subhuman? It breaks my heart to continuously see the suffering and injustice any and all fellow employees endure. I am not surprised the turnover right now is incredibly high. It's not due to the difficulty and yet appeasing work to assist the individuals, it is the maliciousness that comes from this person. I can encourage to any and all to apply to work with the amazing individuals, but avoid the CEO."

"This is the worst employer I've ever worked for. Everybody is completely unprofessional, to the point where my boss got in my face and was screaming at me. I don't think this company isn't really too concerned with their individuals like they claim. It's all about control, and things that are done in this business should not be done and are only covered up and blamed on other people. This company is disgusting, and should definitely be investigated."

"My experience was stressful, disorganized, and humiliating."

What do you like about working at Individual Advocacy Group?

"The clients the organization serves. I like the mission statement of the company, even if the effort doesn't quite match up."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared to be tested by co-workers and management. There is no team work, everyone seems to be concerned about themselves more than the individuals IAG serves. Also, watch your back with upper management. Avoid contact with upper management, you may very well become the scapegoat for their wrong doing. Keep your opinions to yourself, even if its for the greater good of all concerned: these people don't won't to hear it, let alone back you up. Be prepared to be surrounded by dozens of co-workers and supervisors driven by a paycheck rather than passion."

What don't you like about working at Individual Advocacy Group?

"The lack of transparency; disorganized leadership that gossips too much; Lack of team support; lack of employee appreciation and benefits."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Treat your staff with the dignity and respect you expect staff to give your clients. Upper and Senior management need to stop throwing hard working people under the bus, to cover up their lack of effort. Be fair and consistent across the board."
