"When I first started at Impax the sky was the limit. My manager was extremely knowledgeable and a good leader. The environment was conducive to growth, and growth was encouraged based on performance. For 4 years that was the case for me, but then management in my section changed and it was downhill."

What do you like about working at Impax Labs?

"It is very fast paced with outstanding growth. The people are great too work with."

What don't you like about working at Impax Labs?

"maybe growing too fast. Managing the growth is difficult. Some of the equipement is aging and the production facility is very cramped for space. Adding new lines is a priority while taking warehouse space to accomplish."

"absolutely nothing."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Expect to bend over backward for them."

What don't you like about working at Impax Labs?

"Management treats employees like slaves. They push employees so hard and expect no errors. I see them firing old employees for any small mistake, so they can fill positions with temps. I've seen them hire temps and got laid off after one year. 2 months later, the same temps were there. They had to start day 1 all over again.Their has been lots of injuries, especially wrist and arm. If you complain such as I did they will find an excuse to fire you, such as me. I made a batch record error by overlooking an ingredient that I didn't mix. I worked there 4 years and got fired for that reason. It was the first time I worked with that particular product. My partner overlooked it as well. We both didn't catch it. I also see alot of favortism there. The majority group is Filipinos, and they have a better chance for promotions. I never once got promoted there. I worked extremely hard, and punctual, and still no go. When I made the batch record mistake, I got suspended until investigation. 5 days later I was terminated. I told them that it was an overlook and it was the first time, I worked with that product, HR said that doesn't matter.That was the first time I was suspended. Everyone in that facility is frightened to get fired. This is why no one reports injurys. They rather bare their pain. Bosses and Leads are always harassing employees, asking them are they done. There always expecting unreal time quota, as well as quality work in place."

"They will fall if they continue their unethical ways."

"Don't be afraid of long hours because they will happen."

"At times the environment fostered an atmosphere of competition rather than teamwork."

"Don't be afraid to terminate people that you see personally have a lack of integrity."

"Small. Famil-own business can sometimes hindered the way business goes."

"Get out of the box, consider opportunities out side the comfort zone."

"follow what they ask you.agree with whatever they say.if you know someone working in the company, approach that employee and find out how can you get that job. You will get the job if you follow these instrictions."

What don't you like about working at Impax Labs?

"Impax is not a good working place. There are too much discrimations in the company. If you are closed to your boss, you will get a good promotion.Otherwises even you worked for over three years you will not be promoted. Impax doesn't care about employees safety. Impax never care on workers' compensation system. In the past you worked so hard and if you make one single mistake in the present you will be fired."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management team need to listen what employees says. Management team need to understand about human life. If employees never no PTO, but if they have a family problems, management team need to understand. Now Impax is losting many good employees. If there are not going to make any changes, the company will be gone soon. Not too late to be changed"

"No future; it was a contract position only. Company's policies and procedures needed a total overall"

"Bring in new management or sell out to a more respected generic drug mfg"
