New direction has messed up all the good work from the past. Since 2013 disorganization has been increased significantly. Constant management changing is not helping to get mature products and processes. And at the same time there is a lack of appreciation, because the new managers don’t know about the workers. That's why there is no space to grow, all managers are friends of some other manager or director, most of them come from the outside. The promotion is not based on merits, but in friendship. Please keep away if you want to have a successful career.
It needs another big change. The system is as good as complex, there is no way to do it simple, it is impossible to make it ‘stupidly simple’, since the business itself is complex. The experts are the most valuable of any company, soon will be no one, just new managers and directors without knowledge, trying desperately to save the boat. The problem is the lack of appreciation to the good workers and listen to windbags. There are too many windbags and a few real workers.
I have been with ikaSystems since it was a small start up. It was great working there then but for the past 2 years, with new management coming in, it's not an ideal environment to work in.You do not get enough compensation for the work, there is absolutely no vertical career growth, the managers are ever changing and so you have to keep proving yourself every 2-3 months.
Fire them and make new ones get training to know there jobs and treat people correctly. Take worker complaining more earnestly. My boss has little knowledge about our field.
