"You can work from home, or from just about anywhere in the world (depending on if you can afford it with the salary they give you). If you have a talent for lying without being detected, backbiting, tearing others down at any moment and throwing others under the bus....you may actually have a GREAT opportunity at developing a career and being promoted to lead counsel here... There are a good number of really bad apples who use gossip, lies and manipulation and deceit to tear others down and climb up the carcasses... but middle management promises them promotion and keeps them around because of unhealthy emotional attachments and bonding over gossiping about fellow legal team members and internal sales clients... thinly veiled attempts at professional working relationships... Save yourself the GASLIGHTING, undue stress, career stagnation, emotional manipulation and misery - please do not end up in the bottom of this crab barrel. There really are better jobs than this... Look up the term "constructive discharge" to get an idea of what working here is truly like. The pay is so out of touch with market-rate reality that the opportunity cost of joining is IIED (yes, the tort IIED). The worst part is that counsel who have little to no real experience are receiving promises of promotion and favorable treatment all because they were the cheapest to hire and the easiest to manipulate. Because the team is global and remote, hiring managers lean towards hiring individuals with little to no experience, who live in low cost of living environments, who are satisfied with receiving less than market rate in exchange for attention and affirmation. It can be really harmful to get caught in the cross hairs here if don't fit into the above category. Most attorneys who leave, realize the grass really is greener on the other side. A small number of attorneys try to come back because they are suffering from Stockholm syndrome..."

"It can be a good place to work depending on the product you are working on and the team you are working with. The work life balance is great. The company is providing people opportunities for self improvement and the ability to switch teams across different locations. The pay is not great, probably market average or even less than that."
"Great culture that stimulates your productivity and personnel growth"
"IHSMarkit is a diverse and energetic company. The Transportation and Automotive sectors excel in their visions."
"IHS Markit was a great firm to work for. The culture was very inclusive for all employees. I worked in the analytics division on a product I loved. I enjoyed working with a diverse team, and IHS was very supportive of recruiting the right talent. Much of IHS' growth was through acquisition versus organic. Integration of these acquisitions proved to be a stumbling block for IHS."
"A global leader in information and analytics. A great work environment that cared for their colleagues."
"Fast growing company. Truly global"
"It's an amazing company, relationship, learning and understand the market is something that I consider great, but part of the natural day to day are changes, so with long term objectives there are moments that you feel that your previous job make not sense, because there is a new objective or area under your charge."
