"Understand the culture beforehand. Great place if you only looking to do your job and go home. Few to zero advancement and development pathways."

What don't you like about working at ICU Medical?

"Bifurcated corporate and plant culture for bonuses and profit sharing. Risky culture to hurry product to the market and then iterate after complaints to improve rapidly. Constant firefighting."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Open up a profit sharing and companywide bonus program not just for management only. Establish an employee development program to instill leadership and improve corporate culture. Consider more PTO or vacation for senior level employees ot attract top talent. Allow the employees a day off for Thanksgiving and Christmas."

"Little support/recognition for the work my team was doing. Only seemed visible when there were problems but we weren't recognized for accomplishments."

"Communication, open-door policy, feedback - all were lacking. Very little positive recognition."

"Don't change the good things about this place while you fix the processes that need to be in place to grow."

"Find your niche. You are going to be spending a great deal of your life at work so make sure that you enjoy what you are doing. When you see an oppertuinty that you are interested in, go for it."

"Working only from 7p to 7a made me miss most family events."

"Be honest with your employees. Try to see changes coming verses having to react to them"
