"Working at iCore is tough, but after working in the trenches there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Most people are able to do well for themselves here. There is an extremely high turnover in sales, but that's pretty common everywhere from my experience. All other departments have good job security. Many people have been with the company since it started almost a decade ago. Working all the time can get tiresome. The commute in the area is really rough especially in the evenings."
"iCore is full of extremely motivated, productive people. It's refreshing to work with a group of people who can get the job done without hesitation. There are tons of other perks, like free breakfasts and lunches. Good bonuses and potential for advancement."
"I am in love with iCore! The company offers great opportunities and everyone is very intelligent and helpful. They welcomed me immediately and made me feel apart of the iCore family. Cant wait to spend years to come working here."
"Yes, it's fast pace, but so are most sales jobs. I've been in sales for years and this company's practices are pretty standard across the board. The difference here really comes from management. The management team is extremely encouraging and willing to help. Most have held sales roles within the company or industry so they have real life experience to back up their advice."
"Pros - you can easily grow within your career with little prior experience; - lots of on the job training; - sales commissions are pretty good. Cons - short staffed; - extremely busy; - high pressure sales environment."
"People are nice in general. Lots of office perks like free food and team bonding outings on the company. You're constantly rewarded for good work. Lots of opportunity for growth. The job takes a toll on you. 10 hour days are the norm. Very demanding and competitive atmosphere."
"While at iCore I got to take on projects and have responsibilities that most people don't have until 15 years into their career. Yes the hours are long and management can be demanding, but in the end it all pays off. Cons - long hours, construction in building, constant sense of urgency always putting out "fires"."
"This is definitely a place where you can grow. There's a lot of responsibility thrown on new hires but if you can survive being totally in the weeds for the first couple of months you'll get used to the pace. 8 a.m. meetings every morning are a great way to start the day and catch up on what the rest of your team is up to as days can be extremely busy and there is hardly any time to touch base with anyone."
"I've worked for iCore Networks for about the last 6 months. I really enjoy working here. Everyone I have met here is hard working, really cool and down to earth. The actual building iCore is located at in McClean, VA is one of the best parts of working here. There is a deli, convenience store, and gym right in the building. This location also has good Metro and bus access, not to mention it is right near the super-mall Tyson's Corner Center. The gym is even free for employees. Free pizza and beer on the last Friday of the month. What more could you ask for?"
"The company is rapidly expanding which means there's plenty of opportunity for growth. Extremely fast paced, but you can gain invaluable experience early in your career. The pay is good for the region. Raises/promotions are fairly given based on merit. The most enjoyable part of the job is gaining lots of responsibility that most companies will not give to younger employees."
"iCore provides personal, professional and financial growth opportunity."
