"Be able to prove that you can fix computer equipment and apply analytical skills to get the job done."

What don't you like about working at IBM?

"The pay is not very high. The hours can be very long. There is a lot of weekend work involved."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest that more opportunities for growth be offered."

What do you like about working at IBM?

"I enjoyed my fellow employees and most of the environment. I was able to reach other aspects of the company by being allowed to teach new IBMers. I loved the ability to reach out to other managers, executives, and the enormous ability to look for other careers in one company."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be wary of the inside sales center. Understand what you are getting into, ask questions on expectations and requirements of the job."

What don't you like about working at IBM?

"My actual job was not something I would recommend to anyone... minimal job advancement and high stress environment. Other parts of IBM have high stress but the inside sales center was off the chart and the ability to move to other areas of the company was difficult as the company in general did not look highly upon you as a valuable sales rep."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Do not blame the rep for a mistake in sales mission when the economy is not moving well."

"Good benefits, good work/ life balance, good extra curricular opportunities for the family."

"Overall nothing real bad to say... good company."

"Limited growth in my work location."

"Allow more flexibility with the job, if the employee shows initiative."
